Nate Drushinin, M.F.A.

Nathan works with traditional painting and drawing mediums and aims to capture beauty as he sees it, whether it be the effect of sunlight on the landscape or the subtle expression of a friend. His work has been shown around the country (including on his Mother’s refrigerator).

Nathan has sold original works to a number of private collectors and has also done freelance commercial illustration, commissioned works, and murals. He began teaching art while in graduate school and has taught workshops and private lessons in Illinois and Washington State. Currently, Nathan calls Pensacola, FL his home, where he teaches drawing and painting classes at Pensacola Christian College. He finds much joy in investing in the lives of his students and seeing them develop as artists and as human beings.
