Workshops
Artists in Action
Artists travel near and far to attend Palette Productions Pensacola art workshops. Some are eager to train under a renowned artist; others are excited to learn a new technique and explore outside of their creative comfort zones. Many are drawn to the added benefit of Pensacola’s beautiful beaches and everything Pensacola has to offer. All enjoy camaraderie with their fellow artists. This page is dedicated to our artist family, who make every workshop a success. We thank you and look forward to seeing you again! –Pat and Diane
Batik Explored with Kathie George 2022
Kathie George, a batik artist instructor for over 30 years, knows how to coax a new and different skill from the students in her classroom. Artists of all skill levels and mediums participated in this workshop. Everyone completed a painting on the first day using Kathie’s step-by-step process of applying watercolor on ginwashi then layering with wax. Several students in this class tell us that they have taken this technique even further in their home studios.
