Micah Goguen Experiments

Micah Goguen Experiments

Imagine taking a workshop where you don’t even have to know how to draw! Well this is the ONE! Micah will take us through a lesson in experimenting with gels and pastes with different textures using a photograph that you bring to class that has been copied with a laser printer. We will then take that image and enhance it with collage materials, color and texture. Think about your favorite pet, or a photo of your granddaughter or grandson, wife… husband… horse…. and on and on! The copied photo will be adhered to a gesso board and the fun will begin. The only supplies that you will need to bring to class are the copies that you want to work with, a palette knife or two, paper towels, and an apron. You are welcome to bring your own collage papers, stencils, and brushes, but it is not necessary! This all starts on May 15th for 3 days. Sign up soon before the class fills up!

Calling all Artists and Wanna-Be’s!

Calling all Artists and Wanna-Be’s!

Check out this art workshop coming up in May! Micah Goguen, from Macon, Georgia will be teaching this 3-day workshop at Framing by Design, working in acrylics and related water media. All supplies are included, so it is a wonderful chance to take advantage of this money-saving opportunity without having to purchase supplies for the workshop.

Artists of all levels are invited. You will not need “drawing skills” as we will be working with copies of your photographs. Explore the different textures, mediums, and artistic ideas, and leave with a piece created by YOU!

Palette Productions will provide details and workshop registration information.  As always, if you have any questions, please feel free to call Pat Page at 850-293-5414.
